Katherine and Matt met while doing a summer program at Notre Dame in high school. They were each others prom dates and have been together ever since. And this just they celebrated 11 years together with a Basilica Wedding at The University of Notre Dame. It was the place it all started. The Basilica was the perfect backdrop for their classic wedding day. Katherine wore a stunning gown by Lela Rose and Matt couldn’t stop taking photos of her with his phone. It was clear how much they adore each other from their sweet interactions. And even though the campus was preparing for Billy Joel that night, it felt like the two of them were the only people there.

After they said “I Do”, we joined them for cocktail hour at The Embassy Suites in South Bend. Merry Me Events decorated the ballroom with beautiful dusty blue and white florals. And Sweet Em’s Cake was the perfect centerpiece on the dance floor. We caught some sweet moments on the dance floor of their family and closest friends that I know they’ll cherish. And we ended the night on the rooftop for a few photos just before the rain came. Spending the day with Katherine, Matt and their families was an absolute blast. I am so thankful I was able to be a part of their day. I hope you two have settled into your New York City apartment and are enjoying this first month as Mr. and Mrs. Munro!
